PEEB at COP31: Nine Events on Energy-Efficient Buildings to Follow in Antalya

The UN Climate Change Conference COP31 takes place in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9 to 20 November 2026, and buildings are high on its agenda. The COP31 Presidency has proposed the Antalya Compact for Energy Efficient Buildings, built around two objectives for 2035: at least 25% lower operational energy intensity in the global building stock compared with 2020, and efficient electrification of buildings in support of a 35% share of electricity in global final energy consumption.

The Partnership for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (PEEB) will contribute and participate in nine events in the Blue Zone alongside partner countries, development banks, governments and international organisations.

For the fifth COP in a row, PEEB is proudly supporting the Resilient Cities, Buildings and Cooling Pavilion pavilion led by the UNEP-hosted Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC), where many of PEEB’s sessions will take place.

Here is where to find PEEB, day by day. Note that all times are local Antalya time (TRT, UTC+3).
