The Partnership for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (PEEB) is currently funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion (MTECT), the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the European Union (EU), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the International Climate Initiative (IKI), and the Fonds Français pour l’Environnement Mondial (FFEM). The Partnership is part of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC).
PEEB is implemented by the Agence de l’Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l’Énergie (ADEME), AFD and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

2. Data Privacy
The French Development Bank (Agence française de développement-AFD), processes personal data in the context of its activities. PROPARCO, FISEA and SOGEFOM are also entities of the AFD group and also process personal data in the context of their own activities.
The AFD gives the utmost importance to the protection of your personal data.
The objective of this information notice is to help you understand the processing activities carried out on your personal data.
This information notice applies to all processing activities carried out under the responsibility of one of the entities of the AFD group.
3. Information on how data will be processed
AFD and PEEB only processes personal data for specific purposes.
To ensure the transparency of the processing, we share hereafter the list of the main purposes of AFD processing activities, the legal basis of such processing and the categories of personal data collected for such purposes.
3.1. How long do we keep your data?
We have defined and put in place specific rules regarding the retention of your personal data. To define such period, we have taken into account the different purposes for which the data is collected, the applicable legal and regulatory obligations, as well as sectorial best practices. Such retention periods do not exceed what is necessary to accomplish the processing operation.
3.2. Who has access to those data?
Your data is only accessed by PEEB employees that need access to carry out their tasks.
When necessary, personal data may be communicated to partners and suppliers.
The sharing of your personal data will only take place to carry out the purposes previously indicated.
When possible and the nature of the processing activity admits it, personal data will be anonymized before transmitting to third parties.
Furthermore, to satisfy statutory and regulatory obligations, we may need to communicate personal data to judicial or administrative authorities on the basis of the French communication right.
3.3. Our engagement
Our objective is to always keep your personal data in a secured way, and only for specific purposes and for the necessary time period. In this regard, we have adopted appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures to prevent any alteration, modification or illicit access to your personal data.
The AFD does not commercialize personal data collected in the context of its activities.

In the event of transfer of personal data to a country that has not been recognized by the European Commission as assuring an adequate protection for personal data, we put in place appropriate frameworks to guarantee the protection of your personal data (ex. binding corporate rules or standard contractual clauses). 3.4. Your rights
In compliance with the French data protection act (loi informatique et libertes n°78-17 du 06 janvier 1978) and the European Regulation 2016/679, you may, at any time, exercise your right to access, rectify, erase limit and object to the processing of your personal data. When applicable, you may also exercise your right to portability and limitation of the processing of your data. In the event of breach of the applicable regulation on data protection, you may introduce a claim with a Supervisory Authority such as the CNIL.
3.5. Newsletter
PEEB uses the service provider Sendinblue GmbHfor its newsletter. A form to subscribe to the newsletter is available on our website.
Sendinblue uses the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure consent (Art. 6 (1 a GDPR). Once you have entered your address, you will receive an email containing a confirmation link. Clicking on this link confirms that your email address and subscription request are genuine. You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel your subscription, all your personal details will be deleted from our database.
Any personal details collected as part of the press mailing list subscription will only be used for the purpose of processing the subscription. Your details will not be passed onto third parties. No use will be made of your details for consulting purposes, for advertising or for market research.
Sendinblue is a certified provider registered in Germany that was selected in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

The data connected to your request will be stored and processed by the PEEB programme for the sole purpose of responding to your request. Data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1 b) of the GDPR.
3.7. Social media plug-ins
If you visit YouTube via a link on our website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. We are using the privacy-enhanced mode meaning that no advertising data will be send to YouTube Double Click. If you visit the YouTube website, the data protection rules of YouTube will apply.
