In partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, we are advancing efforts to strengthen the market for Energy Service Companies models, a finance mechanism to boost energy efficiency in public buildings.
The first stakeholder consultation gathered representatives from public institutions, financial actors and the private sector, to explore how these models can be effectively implemented in the Albanian context.
Discussions focused on the current legal and institutional framework, potential for Energy Service Companies models and financing options and the roles of key actors in enabling market development.
Together with the French Agency for Development, we are combining investment support with policy and capacity-building efforts to promote resilient and energy-efficient buildings in Albania.
This consultation marks an important step toward creating the conditions for sustainable energy investments and accelerating climate action.
