Support for Policies and standards

PEEB provides technical advisory on meeting the NDC mitigation targets for the building sector. This will be achieved by a systematic approach which includes revising the current NDC commitments, targets and ambitions as well as the legal framework conditions and institutional arrangements.

Specific support may include such as setting of targets and priorities for short, medium and long-term mitigation measures, required financing and financing sources and instruments. Furthermore, PEEB supports the development of MRV frameworks and methodologies for the building sector and advises on institutional arrangements and inter-institutional cooperation (e.g. building round tables).
